This image represents the festival of Imbolc, celebrated on either the 1st or 2nd February marking the mid-way point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.  It celebrates the coming of Spring with new life and possibility and the return of the light.

It is traditionally considered to be associated with Brigid, the Celtic goddess of healing, poetry, fire and smithcraft.
